Welcome to The Keyser's Kapers

This site is a personal site for the Keyser's to display the many photos that Allan takes on all of our trips, vacation and ball games too. Our family is blessed in many ways and wanted to share these photos with all of our family and friends.  Sit back, relax and get your clicker finger ready!

Below is the last Christmas Letter we sent out for Christmas 2007.

The Best Journeys Always Take Us Home!

Happy Holidays in 2007 everyone! Before I tell you about this year’s journey, I would like to express our gratitude to all of our friends for your love and prayers to our entire family after losing Dustin and Courtney Muse on December 06, 2006. God bless you.

Tiffany graduated from Towson University with a degree in law and graced the Dean’s list in May 07. Since then, she has moved back home, worked for The Garrison Commander of Fort Detrick, and saved enough money to purchase her first new car. She is now working back at Crum Electric until she decides where to further her education. Tiffany is working very hard on a fundraiser to help her uncle, who needs a heart transplant and shares her free time with her great boyfriend, Chris.

Casey is currently president of Student Government Assoc. at FCC where she plans to graduate in Dec 07. She loves teaching at The Lucy School for a kindergarten class, and also still works at the Olive Garden Restaurant. Casey has moved out to live in downtown Frederick until July and will then move again to Towson University in Fall 08 to finish working on her teaching career. Until then, she now grocery shops at home!

Seth is a senior at BHS and is currently playing basketball this season, but is looking forward to baseball in the spring. Seth drives a big, noisy, black truck (so you don’t miss him) and is enjoying his senior year with his friends. Seth plans to go to FCC in Fall 08 to be a part of their baseball program which has one of the top Junior College baseball programs in the country. Then he plans to transfer to a 4-year college. His last year on the BHS Varsity Baseball team is an important one, and we all look forward to watching him play. You can also visit www.keyserbaseball.com for updates and pictures.

Allan & Ellen have just planned another cruise in late February to get away before baseball starts in the spring. Allan is gearing up to take more baseball photos of Seth’s games. We also love watching the girls become so independent in their lives; they’re starting to make some big decisions. Our babies have grown up, but we love the activity of them coming and going all the time.

Penny is the newest addition to the family. She is our cute chocolate lab that we saved from the humane society in May. She is about 3 years old, and is very sweet... just as our beloved Ashes was. She is a bit hungry ALL THE TIME and has earned the nickname DD for Dumpster Diver. At home, I love having my shadow back all day long, and the kids and Allan love having her greet them as they come home. Penny loves attention and in the Keyser house, she gets plenty of that! Stop in to visit Penny and whom ever maybe home anytime.

Our parents are doing well as Allan and I check on them frequently and we all wish you a great holiday season. Remember to keep your loved ones close to your heart. The Keyser’s

Christmas - That magic blanket that wraps itself about us, that something so intangible that it is like a fragrance. It may weave a spell of nostalgia. Christmas may be a day of feasting, or of prayer, but always it will be a day of remembrance - a day in which we think of everything we have ever loved. ~ Augusta E. Rundel
