Welcome to The Keyser's Kapers

This site is a personal site for the Keyser's to display the many photos that Allan takes on all of our trips, vacation and ball games too. Our family is blessed in many ways and wanted to share these photos with all of our family and friends.  Sit back, relax and get your clicker finger ready!

Below is the 2008 Christmas Letter.

Holidays for 2008 are here already!

Hello to all of our friends and family. It's been another year, so, of course another letter from the Keysers. Usually we say, "I don't know where the time has gone"; however, I feel this year was a very long and drawn out year. Between the gas prices, political ads, and economy issues, it has been a very long year indeed.

But all in all, everyone in the family is doing really well. We are loving being home-bodies this winter and enjoying all the kids home for the holidays, which means all the friends are home too. Earlier in the year, Allan and I got to travel, and it was great getting away. In February, we took a Carnival cruise and had a lovely time getting out of the cold and into the sun. Then in May, we were so lucky to take a wonderful trip to Spain which was a great fun packed week of site seeing to five beautiful towns and villages near Marbella, Spain, including a day in Morocco, Africa.

In August, I took the girls to Vegas with their friends to celebrate their birthdays now that Casey is 21 and Tiffany is 23 and Mom can actually party with her girls (yes, we left the poor boys home). Allan also traveled to Salisbury with Seth and the Brunswick Orioles where they became the 2008 Blue Ridge League Champions. Then I joined them in Kentucky to play in the NABF World Series Tournament where the team finished 3rd. They can't wait until next year for more of summer baseball!

As for Tiffany, she loves life after college. She has her mind set on saving money and buying her first house soon, which I love too because I've given her a deadline to move out (haha). She devotes her spare time to helping me with The PPF charities, and even coordinated her first charity event in January. I'm hoping to one day retire and pass the volunteer torch down to her. She also really enjoys the time she shares with her sweetheart of a boyfriend, Chris.

Casey began the fall semester at Towson University, majoring in Early Childhood Education. She is so excited to start an internship in January at an elementary school in Baltimore. She is having way too much fun shopping for her new professional look for when she begins teaching. She loves life in Towson with her best friend/roommate Diane, but is still always coming home to visit her family and friends. Casey lives every day to its fullest, and we love watching her go about it. She exhausts me!

Seth is attending his first year of college at FCC. He is most interested in his criminal justice class, where students have even taken trips to the jail. But above all, his first love at college is baseball. He plays shortstop on the team, and the family (and his adorable girlfriend, Jessica) cannot wait to show support at the FCC games this spring!

In September, the kids planned a surprise party for our 25th wedding anniversary. It was so great to see old friends and our family in one place. Our kids are so wonderful, I'm thinking about tossing a large sum of money in each of their bank accounts tonight. (OK, Tiffany wrote that sentence, so I left it in!)
For anyone interested in seeing photos of our cruise, our trip to Spain, and fun photos of the kids, visit

Love, the Keysers!
